home [bitter]sweet home
I am back in Minnesota, and man, does it ever feel strange!! This weather is completely throwing me off--no 90 degree, 100% humidity days here! I have finally caught up on some much needed rest after flying in and going directly into a Wedding Rehearsal...and Wedding the following day. Congrats to Lorenzo & Laura Dassrath!! :)
I still need to unpack my suitcases, do some laundry, and get myself organized. I will be writing more soon, and definitely beginning my final letter to everyone as I attempt to "sum up" my amazing summer in NMB. Be checking your mailboxes in the next few weeks!!

an amazing challenge.
Praise the Lord for AMAZING challenges!! I have definitely been stretched and challenged in these past two weeks, and I am in AWE of the fact that God has used ME. I was given the opportunity last Tuesday to speak at our Sunday evening weekly meeting (July 19th). After prayer, I knew the Lord was calling me to take up this offer. I put together a talk focusing on this week's theme which is EATT: Everybody All the Time--basically encouraging evangelism with no boundaries or stereotypes.
I could not believe how fast ideas, scripture, examples, and resources came to my mind after just twenty initial minutes in prayer!! Even though I was fighting the lies that I could not teach my peers, the Lord overpowered those lies with TRUTH. On Sunday I was able to go up on stage and truly let the Lord speak through me and it was great, great, great!! Ask me more about the talk if you would like details :)
God is good. We do not say that enough. God is GOOD. He is SO good.

prayer request
for those of you who follow this blog, please take a few minutes to pray for the zillmer family.
a close friend on project, stephanie, had to leave project yesterday to be with her family.
more specifically, steph's mother has been sick for a while and must have surgery this week.
please pray that the Lord's sovereignty will reign true and clear in this situation for steph & her family. we all miss her dearly, but trust and know the Lord has a plan & purpose for this.

and then there were 94.
The staff has left and it is really just the 94 of us students running the remainder of project now. With any fears or doubts anyone had going into this big change, I am completely confident in our student leaders and am excited to see how everything continues to unravel from now until August. We have finished an entire week staff-free and to be honest, I have almost forgotten how it feels to have staff with us! Everyone has just taken over their positions with humility...and done it so naturally.
It has been challenging, but so rewarding to listen and obey the Lord as I am here. When I truly look to Him, I feel like my time is spent so much more wisely in an environment where there is never a lack of something to do or people to hang out with. To make this blog a little shorter and easier on the eyes, I will just mention a few things I have been learning this July...
Discipleship: I must first focus on deepening and maintaining my own personal walk with the Lord before thinking about teaching others. Asking "Is my walk with the Lord worth replicating?" Knowing that we are flawed and imperfect; that discipleship would fail without God...and that discipleship exists for the glory of God.
Teachability: I am really craving knowledge this summer, spiritual knowledge and the understanding that goes much deeper than the surface of the words on the pages of the Bible. But I am also learning that I do not need to be completely knowledgeable to be used...I just need to be willing, humble, have a servant heart, and quiet myself enough to listen and hear His voice.
Walking in the Spirit: "Being filled with the Spirit means to be constantly and continually controlled and empowered by the Holy Spirit." 1 John 5:14, 15. Availability, trust, & obedience to the Lord. Romans 8:28 AND 1 Thessalonians 5:18....God has amazing plans for us, even in times of hardship.
Truth: I am struggling but slowly overcoming many of Satan's lies in my life, clearing it all up with the only truth from God. Continually seeking truth...

praise & faithfulness
I never got around to blogging the night this happened, but I would like to share a quick (amaaaazing) story of a typical Tuesday night here in North Myrtle.
The last week that staff was here, I was fortunate enough to go out sharing/evangelizing with Jen Schad. This lady is such an encouragement and she has such a passion & love for the Lord that is absolutely apparent. Hence, why I was so pumped to go out sharing with her to soak in that passion and see what I could learn from her.
We drove to Barefoot Landing (outside mall area) and began walking around, pretty unsuccessfully getting any conversations started. We initiated about five or six conversations, being rejected, and really thinking the night would be a very small victory if one at all. Then, by chance, we decided to stop three teenagers walking out of an alligator store. To our surprise, these three teens, Max, Grant, & Teresa, were completely into taking our five-question survey and even more interested in hearing about the Gospel.
Jen & I were able to go through the entire booklet (KGP) and it was really cool to see these three truly understand and discuss each point with us. Many times the people we talk with simply give one-two word answers, but when people are asking you questions back, you know they are engaged and interested in understanding. After explaining the decision to trust Christ with your life and the responsibilities and joys that come along with it, ALL three decided they wanted to pray to receive Christ!!! (Sidenote: I had not seen anyone come to Christ before this night, so I was PUMPED!) Jen & I said the prayer out loud with them, and we exchanged email addresses, hoping to encourage the two college sophomores (and one high school senior) to seek out Campus Crusade within their campuses.
Praise the Lord, for when you ask for Him to use you....He answers!!

be content.
Okay, this is the last post for the night. I just wanted to briefly share something God has put on my heart as I have been on project. This applies to so many areas of my life, but has really been hitting me hard this week: being content. It sounds so simple, but ask yourself this question: are you truly content with where you are in every situation in your life? The answer is most likely no. I am seeking to be joyful in ALL situations, no matter what. I may not always love where God places me, but he places me there for reasons, and I need not question that, but rather take it in and simply delight in the Lord.
As I opened up my bible tonight, the pages opened up right to the perfect passage. 1 Corinthians 7:17 says "Each of you should continue to live in whatever situation the Lord has placed you, and remain as you were when God first called you."
I LOVE this verse. I know I need to rid me of myself, my wants/desires, plans and hopes and simply surrender to whatever Christ wants for me. I know I must first seek the kingdom of God. This upcoming week's theme is Agape (unconditional love). I am ready to give the Lord my attitude and emotions, making sure my focus is on Him.
stretch/challenge/OPPORTUNITY.
As I may have mentioned in some previous blogs, our 20-member staff team will be leaving us shortly for the remainder of the summer. (Yes, they are really, actually leaving us!) It felt pretty surreal thinking that we would have to somehow manage without them, but it is becoming more and more real now that they leave us in approximately FIVE days!!! It is a little frightening, but more exciting than anything. I have heard from multiple sources that "project doesn't really start until staff leaves" and "once the staff leaves, the leaders really step it up." These comments make me view this as a very positive change for our summers.
As our staff begins to filter out, they must "replace themselves" with students to take over for July and August. There are four main leader positions (2 men, 2 women), 18 bible study leader positions (9 men, 9 women), and about 10 team leader positions (community team, worship team, outreach team, etc). We were made aware of these leaderships shifts last Thursday at our weekly meeting. The four students taking over the main director leadership roles are Matt, Kevin, Steph, & Bekah. These four will be leading our movement for the rest of our time here in North Myrtle.
The most exciting part comes next...can you guess what I am pumped about?! Well, I was asked last week to take on a role that will challenge me in many areas: evangelism, teaching or discipleship, prayer, and community within my bible study. If you haven't guessed it yet, I have been offered the privilege of becoming a bible study leader!! :) I am SO EXCITED about taking on this role! As a study leader, it will be my responsibility to guide our Monday evening bible study sessions, disciple my five roommates/fellow bible study girls, go out sharing/evangelizing with each roommate (5x per week), and teaching one Sunday morning at our "grown up Sunday School" sessions. I have not had the chance to lead a bible study back on campus, so what an awesome opportunity to experience this here in North Myrtle! Although Satan has been throwing many lies in my face, I am more than ready to press on through any barriers and lead the girls in my bible study with the Lord's strength and wisdom.
When really looking at my role as a bible study leader, it is important to have the attitude described in Mark 10:35-45. If you have a bible near you, look it up! All 18 of us will be serving others, putting others' concerns before our own, taking care of our study, and making sure we are truly walking by the Holy Spirit through it all. I know this opportunity will stretch me in my own faith as I seek to deepen my understanding of Him while preparing to teach others.
As I was sorting through my doubts and fears regarding this transition, I found comfort in Ephesians 1:11 "Furthermore, because we are united in Christ, we have received an inheritance from God, for her chose us in advance and he makes everything work out according to his plan." Even if I feel inadequate to teach others, or fear that I will not foster an environment for spiritual growth, I do know that God has called me to this leadership role, and I gladly accept whatever obstacles come my way. I am ready to be used and transformed, and I think this is just the beginning of it all!!
God does not call the equipped, but EQUIPS the CALLED!!!!
world vision
So it has definitely been a WHILE since I have been on here and I apologize!! I would love to be writing more than just weekly updates, but the laptop I brought down here has decided to stop allowing me to type most letters; making it basically impossible to type any sort of message. My roommates have been kind enough to lend their laptops out to me so I can finally blog and email everyone :)
A lot has been going on here, as always! Because there is so much to say, I am going to split this into two separate entries. I will begin with the week of June 21st-27th. This was World Vision week for us. We focused on the international ministries CRU has partnerships with in East Asia, the Middle East (4th Journey), Australia, France, Ghana, and Latin America. There was a lot of time spent in prayer and seeking the Lord throughout this week for many students considering a summer or a full year of international ministry. We were challenged to be aware of what is going on in other countries and taking action in that, whether it be helping send others or being sent.
It was made so very clear that we are COMFORTABLE Christians in America. We are some of the richest people in the world, simply because we live in America. We are so blessed, but these blessings can keep some from God. If we allow ourselves to be completely consumed by this world, there will be no reason to seek Jesus. People in other countries do not have the same rights and privileges we have as Americans. We are not put in jail when we proclaim our faith. We are not struck down and beaten publicly for declaring Jesus as our Savior. We have so many freedoms that these people around the world could never imagine.
This brings me to Romans 10:14-15, a verse that really hits my heart, "But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, 'How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!'"
This verse is so true and convicting to me. How will the people in this world, especially those internationally, ever hear about Jesus? How can they be saved if they never even have the chance? God has chosen us to be sent. Not just sent out into the mission fields of East Asia or Africa, but in our regions, our workplaces, our schools, and our homes. Throughout the week and in lots of prayer, I will definitely be thinking about missions internationally. Because I have already graduated, my options for this type of ministry within CRU are limited, but we will see what the Lord will do. My heart has definitely been changed in this area. I would have never imagined myself overseas a year ago, but after being away from home for over a month, I know a short term international mission trip is absolutely possible!
A lasting thought we were left with tonight to wrap up our Prayer & World Vision week was from staff member, Brandi. She STINTED (Short Term International trip) in East Asia a few years ago, and really challenged us with this: Instead of praying and seeking the Lord about being sent and waiting HERE to hear His voice, take the initiative to say "Lord, I am stepping out in faith and GOING out for you unless I hear you tell me not to stay."
More to come in the next blog...

seeking balance
Everything has been so hectic this past week, I have hardly had any downtime to sit and write a blog, but I am excited to share what has been going on here in North Myrtle! We successfully finished our 'Killing the Giants' week on Saturday evening, reaching our goal of initiating conversations with over 2,000 people on the beaches, streets, and at the outdoor shopping center, Barefoot Landing. I was also able to reach my own goals for the week. I stepped out in faith, especially on Wednesday afternoon when I decided to go out sharing on my own. I felt well-prepared and decided to hit up the beach around 2:45pm after a day of work and a desire to share with the many on the beach. I was able to initiate ten conversations, and by the grace of God, I was given the opportunity to share the Gospel through the KGP (Knowing God Personally booklet) with four girls ranging from the ages of 17-20. It was exciting to challenge two high school seniors to bring the KGP's to their youth group and continue to learn to share their own faith. The other two girls I shared with were not believers, but they were still receptive to the message. I was able to give out contact information as well if these girls are ever to have questions while reading through the KGP booklets on their own again. This is just a glimpse of what we are able to do out here this summer--numerous opportunities to go out and walk up to groups of people our age and ask them about life, giving them a survey, and leading the conversation to spiritual things. It has been extremely encouraging to see God move in my heart, opening the doors of non-believer's hearts to hear His message through me.
Besides going out and sharing on my own, we are usually paired up in two's or three's to initiate with people wherever we go. This is especially important this week, as our theme is "All for One" or a week all about unity and team building. We are focusing on servanthood towards our co-workers, fellow friends, neighbors, and staff through our every move this week. A great verse to explain this duty the Lord calls us to is in Mark 9:35b which states, "'Whoever wants to be first must take last place and be the servant of everyone else.'" It is clear that we must continue to serve our brothers and sisters in order to serve the Lord. We are also gearing up for "the big softball game" which will take place this Saturday. The entire staff is our opponent as we continue receiving clues as to what things will give us disadvantages (unsportsman like conduct, disrespecting the staff team spirit, wearing "staff colors" at the game, etc) and advantages (coming up with a team name, team cheers, team colors, unity, etc). We must learn that our greatness is determined by servanthood to others!
I was so thankful for TWO days off this week :) On Monday I got delicious blueberry & walnut pancakes at the Golden Griddle Pancake House with Cara & James, and headed to Starbucks for a much needed lengthy quiet time with the Lord. By the way....Praise the Lord for a Starbucks within walking distance!! Only 1.3 miles away and it is SO worth the walk :) Anyways, I had a very enjoyable few hours reading the bible, preparing for our Monday bible study, journaling, and praying for guidance. One thing I have been struggling with is how to BALANCE everything on project. The main focuses include: sharing our faith, deepening our relationships and understanding of God, unity through Christ, making new friendships, and being leaders through everything we do. I definitely want to make the most of every moment spent on project, but there is never a lack of things to do here! Please pray that I will learn to effectively balance each focus through the coming weeks.
I also forgot to mention in my last blog that we have finally chosen what "teams" we will join and eventually take over when staff leave (which is in less than 2.5 weeks! ah!). I am SO excited to be a part of the OUTREACH TEAM!! There are 13 students on this team and we will be in charge of the Tuesday Outreach Nights, and I have already had the opportunity to lead our small 20-minute preparation meeting for all students/staff before heading out to share for the night. It was a great time to step up in my leadership role (especially because I found out about this only 45 minutes prior to my 'presentation') and everything turned out great :) I am excited because I know my role in this team will continue to stretch and challenge me.
If you are in for the long haul, this blog is going to be a lengthy one!! I have so much to share!! Another awesome time I wanted to share with everyone was a divine appointment last Wednesday evening. As I finished my Date Night with Jesus, my friend Danielle met me at my coffee shop (Shaggin' Joes) and told me to come next door to the restaurant patio she had been sitting out at for her date. It turned out that two 55-year-old men had sat down with her, saw what she was doing, and wanted to be taken through the survey and KGP! How cool!!! Danielle began going through the KGP with Rick & Randy, but the conversation quickly turned into a deeper conversation. Randy claimed that he was a believer, but Rick on the other hand, was more focused on believing in science and morality. It was a GREAT discussion to stretch my knowledge about my faith. I was able to inform Rick about why "being moral" was not enough to make it to Heaven, amongst many other things that let our talk go on for about an hour. It was encouraging to see how much respect these men had for us; enough to sit down and converse with us for the time that they did. I pray that there was a seed planted and/or watered in Rick's life from that conversation.
As I continue to seek the Lord each day in my quiet times, I come across so many great bible verses! One that stuck out to me was Ephesians 5:18 which is clear in commanding being constantly and continually filled, controlled, and empowered with the Holy Spirit as a WAY OF LIFE. I love that. Choosing to lead a life that models Christ's is not a simple choice, but a way of living. I have definitely learned this year that you have to be willing to give God ALL control; surrendering everything to Him. I am completely aware that God's plans are so much better than anything I can imagine or desire for myself, and I am so thankful that He has truly changed my heart towards this. I no longer desire to control my future or plans for my life, for I know tha the Lord has something so much better in store for me!! I continue to seek discernment on what He wants me to act upon, and I am trying to learn to 'be still' and listen to His voice.
I will leave you all with a motivating verse to consider as you begin your day or enter a situation at work or anywhere where you will encounter people.
"Lord, remind me how brief my time on earth will be. Remind me that my days are numbered-- how fleeting my life is...My entire lifetime is just a moment to you; at best, each of us is but a breath." --Psalm 39:4-5
I miss all of you back in the Midwest, but I really do love being out here in South Carolina, too :) Let me know if you have any questions, prayer requests, or simply want to chat with me!! Thanks for being such an awesome support-- LOVE YOU ALL!!

sharing to the MAX!
I cannot believe that tomorrow marks two weeks that we have been out here in South Carolina!! Everything is going by so quickly with everything we have going on each day. Things are starting to fall into place and routine with work and our daily schedules in the evenings, though each day brings a new challenge too. This week our theme is "Killing the Giant" and basically knocking down our fears and continually stepping out in faith to share the gospel with our neighbors, coworkers, and vacationers on the beaches. This week started with a bang--most of the houses surrounding us have be inhabited by recent high school graduates for 'Senior Week' (aka: drinking & partying all week) so we will have great opportunities to talk with them. The house right next to us was busted about two hours after they arrived--police showed up, forcing the teens to dump out what we found out later to be approximately 22 cases of beer. There have been numerous cops surrounding the area, but these parties have been a great excuse for us to walk around outside and chat with these impressionable teens. Many of us went out sharing tonight and we are hoping to build relationships and visit the same houses day-to-day (as they are here until Sunday). Please pray for the hearts of these teens--they are excited about recently graduating high school and are entering a time of great transition. Of the teens we have spoken with, a few understand the gospel, but almost all have let us know that they don't want to give up control just yet...
This week has also been a great focus on compiling my own story. There have been lots of ups and downs and changes since receiving Christ back in 7th grade!! It is also interesting that the basic theme of my story revolves around 'control' and really seeing part of myself in the shoes of these high school grads. I may post my story on here once it is finished, but otherwise I will definitely post the main points.
I want to praise the Lord for my amazing roommates--although we are all so different, we are SO alike!! Our bible study times and just the times we spend together are filled with fun, laughter, crazy stories, and the focus of Christ. It seems like we have lived together so much longer than just two weeks! I also want to share how God is working through my time at McDonald's. It has not only brought me closer to my fellow CRU employees, but I was able to begin opening up to a coworker named Melinda this past Saturday. My CRU coworker, Sadie & I decided to grab something healthy off the menu and stick around to eat after our shift, and to our pleasant surprise, Melinda sat down with us. Melinda is just 19 years old (one of the younger workers that works the morning/afternoon shift) but she began to open up to us about her life. We were able to share with her that we were here with Campus Crusade and invite her to our Thursday weekly meetings, but shortly thereafter, she was scolded by a manager and was sent back to work. We are hoping to continue building a friendship and eventually sharing our lives and stories of how God has worked in our lives with her.
Once again, our theme this week is directed at getting us to boldly & confidently step out in faith and share our stories and the gospel with whoever we come across, wherever we go. One verse that I found while in Panama City Beach, FL over Spring Break for the Big Break Conference was in Ephesians 3:7 "By God's grace and mighty power, I have been given the privilege of serving him by spreading this Good News." I love this verse because contrary to what many Christians think, we are not being "forced" to go out and share about Jesus, but rather we have been blessed with the opportunity and privilege to share what He has done for us. I also love that by stepping out in faith and initiating these conversations, not only are we always 100% successful, but God is glorified through it all! This week is all about taking every opportunity to talk with people, inititate conversations, and let God lead from there.
Please pray for courage, strength, and a love for these people as we take every moment of free time and surrender it to the Lord by walking with Him and prepare to step out of our comfort zones to tell the world about Him!

faith, trust & employment.
The forecast for the next few days= rain & thunderstorms (but no lack of humidity!) Should make for an interesting day at work tomorrow....speaking of work...
Of the 94 students on project, 83 have found jobs, which is great! But that still leaves 11 students fervently seeking employment anywhere near Myrtle Beach. Please be praying that God would open up positions for these students, places where they can bring Jesus to light in the lives of co-workers. Also, please be praying that these students would stand strong in God's promise, and that they would continue to trust Him--many are becoming discouraged at this point.
I was in the same shoes up until Monday, so I can understand the beginnings of discouragement. It is easy to reflect on God's truth and faithfulness, but it is also easy to become impatient with God's timing and plan for our summers. As I continued my search for a job this past weekend, I ended up compiling a small list of verses on God's faithfulness during a quiet time. Anytime I felt like my applications or phone calls were making no difference, I flipped open my journal and read the following:
"But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in you. I praise God for what He has promised. I trust in God, so why should I be afraid?" -Psalm 56:3-4a
"My heart is confident in you, O God; my heart is confident." -Psalm 57:7
"I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from him." -Psalm 62:1
"You faithfully answer our prayers with awesome deeds, O God our Savior." -Psalm 65:5
"We know how much god loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God IS love and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them." -1 John 4:16
As I continued to seek the Lord in choosing a place of employment for the summer, nothing really stuck out to me. It was actually a big act of obedience on my part to give up my control of the job search, patiently waiting to seek employment until arriving to North Myrtle. I decided to fervently trust the Lord, and wait to see what His plans were for me upon my arrival. I was unsure about where the Lord was leading me, and the first two days of job searching proved pretty unpromising. I continued to seek God through prayer and His Word, but I also began to be still and listen for His voice. In all of my searching, I ended up where I kind of thought I might be, but I wanted to make sure this was really where the Lord was leading me......
...and that fast-food joint is......drum roll..........McDonald's!!!!!!!! I am actually super excited to see what God is going to do and how he will use the 11 of us working at the store on Main Street (approximately 15 minutes walking time from our apartments). It is a great combination of CRU people and the local employees, with whom I am in close contact with everyday! I was "trained-in" on Monday, and began work on Tuesday and Thursday of this week. I have been given the task of the drive-thru window :) I get to read all of the orders as they pop up on the screen, make any drinks, and make sure orders are given out to the cars promptly and correctly with a "Thank You, Have a Nice Day" and a smile :) We have also been lucky enough to each receive 40-hours of work this week!! We were not sure how it would end up with so many of us working at the Main Street store, but so far everything has been great. My shift is 7am-3pm this week, though our shifts and jobs may change each week depending on what we prefer.
With all of the interactions we have had so far with the local employees, I am excited to see how our conversations and actions will affect these peoples' lives!! I have so much more respect for these workers--it is not an 'easy' job working at McDonald's (and all of us joke that we will never get angry if we are dining at a fast-food restaurant and they mess our order up!! With how fast-paced everything is and with so much going on, it is VERY possible for mix-ups to occur!) So praise the Lord for providing employment for those of us who have secured jobs, and please pray that He will be preparing us for the relationships and bonds we will begin with our co-workers, as well as softening the hearts of those we work with. God is SO good, and I am excited to see how everything will unfold in the coming weeks.
Also, pictures of myself in my snazzy uniform should be surfacing my blog soon.... :)
Love you all,
Christa
PS: We are going through the Gospel of Mark for our Bible Study, as well as a few large meeting speaker talks. If you would like to read along with me and discuss, please do so!! :)
In all of my searching, I ended up where I kind of thought I might be, but I wanted to make sure this was really where the Lord was leading me......

the basics of project.
I am finally HERE in the lovely state of South Carolina!! Things are just beginning to seem real as the one week mark approaches. Over the past few days, all 94 students have been getting to know each other through time at the beach, games, bible studies, impact teams (one women's and one men's bible study teamed up), social events, job searching, numerous trips (drives & walks) to Wal-Mart, and eventually by place of employment. There are 54 women and 40 men officially on our North Myrtle Beach Summer Project for 2009--although this does not include the 20+ staff members here with us. I have been assigned to the Shamrock Apartments, lower left corner, also called "Rock." [There are four apartments on the front side, each with a corresponding name: Sham, Wow, & Solid are a few of the other women].
I have been blessed to live with five other women from all over the Midwest area: Elizabeth (UW-Oskosh); Britta (St. Cloud State), Jenna (UND); Shannon (UW-Green Bay) &Traci (MNSU). Our bible study/discipleship leader is Emily, who has been and is still currently on staff in Iowa. Even in the short time that we have been living together here, we have already begun our bonding :) To give you a little taste of what my schedule will look like this summer, please read on.

As you can tell, I will definitely be keeping busy this summer!! Amongst what is planned, we must additionally set aside daily quiet times with the Lord and continue to get to know our fellow brothers and sisters out here on project (there are quite a few to get to know!) Later this week we will all be choosing leadership roles for different ministry teams this summer--I will post more about this when I get more information on it.
Our theme for this week is "Thirsting for God" so I will leave you with this verse we have just begun discussing. Please pray that we will all continue to seek the Lord this week and thirst for his knowledge, truth, & love, especially as we begin our ministries at our places of work.
"As a deer pants for flowing streams, so pants my soul for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?" -Psalm 42: 1-2

the dreaded packing.
My summer in North Myrtle Beach will begin in just three short days!! I will be flying out early Wednesday morning, but until then I am enjoying my last days in Minnesota with friends & family. I have yet to begin my mission of packing an entire summer into two suitcases...so wish me luck! I cannot wait to begin this amazing journey I have been preparing for for months :) Thank you to all who have supported me both prayerfully & financially--God has absolutely shown himself faithful in this preparation period. I cannot wait to see what He will do this summer....!!!!
Forever His,
Christa
