Okay, this is the last post for the night. I just wanted to briefly share something God has put on my heart as I have been on project. This applies to so many areas of my life, but has really been hitting me hard this week: being content. It sounds so simple, but ask yourself this question: are you truly content with where you are in every situation in your life? The answer is most likely no. I am seeking to be joyful in ALL situations, no matter what. I may not always love where God places me, but he places me there for reasons, and I need not question that, but rather take it in and simply delight in the Lord.

As I opened up my bible tonight, the pages opened up right to the perfect passage. 1 Corinthians 7:17 says "Each of you should continue to live in whatever situation the Lord has placed you, and remain as you were when God first called you."

I LOVE this verse. I know I need to rid me of myself, my wants/desires, plans and hopes and simply surrender to whatever Christ wants for me. I know I must first seek the kingdom of God. This upcoming week's theme is Agape (unconditional love). I am ready to give the Lord my attitude and emotions, making sure my focus is on Him.
